FESTIVAL DEL FOLKLORE SICILIANO SCOLASTICO

PIZZIFOLK APS

The first edition of the festival was organized by the Pizzigoni Carducci Comprehensive Institute of Catania, led by headmaster Fernando Rizza. It was inspired by the Sicilian-themed competitions held at the Umberto I Scientific High School in Palermo, and by the Sicilian Region itself, with artistic director Donato Ciulla, who led the Pizzifolk group to prestigious performances such as the Mandorlo in Fiore in Agrigento, as well as in Mexico and Bulgaria.
