ASSOCIAZIONE FOLKLORICA NORBENSIS
On July 22, 1995, an event called the International Folklore Festival - "Folklore for the Peace of Peoples" was inaugurated in Norma, in the province of Latina. The event was conceived and founded by architect Dr. Fabio Massimo Filippi, after extensive research and study of folklore and popular traditions.
From the beginning, the founder always emphasized that the initiative was intended to contribute, albeit in a simple way, to adding a small piece to the larger WORLD MOSAIC OF PEACE, naming the festival "FOLKLORE FOR THE PEACE OF PEOPLES."
"Knowing the past, living the present, and projecting into the future"
"For our community and neighboring municipalities, it is an opportunity to exchange cultural interests and build invaluable human relationships with folk groups from around the world, transforming
their attachment to their homeland, traditions, and folklore into joy and fun, as a symbol of the continuation of peace, friendship, and brotherhood. May it become a moment of joy, protected and cherished like a precious jewel belonging to the entire community of the City of Norma."
