ASSOCIAZIONE FOLKLORICA MINTURNO
The Minturno Folk Group Association was founded with the aim of preserving and keeping alive the folk traditions, culture, and musical heritage of Minturno. The goal is to rediscover and re-evaluate rural civilization through research and study of vernacular folk music and folk dances. The folk culture of Minturno, a city in southern Lazio, is part of the great traditions of central and southern Italy, drawing in particular from Roman and Neapolitan folklore. The Minturno folk traditions have a remarkable history, crowned by numerous awards and successes in Italy and around the world.
