Hansani Dancing Academy was founded in 2013 with the goal of enriching students' lives with dance and training them to become professional dancers of our culture. Hansani Dancing Academy prepares students to perform traditional, creative, and modern dances based on Kandyan, Indian, and contemporary dance. HDA students are committed to mastering all creative aspects of dance, including choreography, staging, costumes, and performance.
The academy follows the school curriculum, and students begin dancing at age 5. All students are required to wear a uniform, consisting of a purple leotard, tights, etc.
A high standard of discipline and behavior is maintained at all times. Students are expected to abide by the academy's rules and regulations. Uniforms are mandatory, and students are expected to be well-groomed for class.
The "hansani dancing academy" is a place dedicated to dance, designed to promote the art of dance both as a pleasant social and recreational activity and as a competitive performance-oriented discipline.
