CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF GIANNITSA "PELLA"
The Giannitsa Cultural Club "PELLA" was founded in 1964, when progressive citizens of the Giannitsa Municipality of the Pella Prefecture envisioned the spiritual, educational and artistic development of our city.
The Giannitsa Cultural Club "I PELLA" aims to save and disseminate the cultural heritage of our place, a rich and invaluable heritage.
Immediately after the founding of our Group, the adult choir, the children's choir began and the teaching of our traditional dance, theater, painting, piano and ballet lessons began and in a short time, these sections, artistically ready, began to give presentations.
"PELLA" has participated in many cultural events in our region, but also throughout Greece and has participated in 56 festivals abroad.
During his lifetime, "PELLA" transmitted traditional Greek art and Greek culture to 11 countries around the world, in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
The work of “PELLAS” is that it managed to reach 500 students and the team of its dance department has been recognized in many festivals abroad in the first place.
Our effort and search focuses on formulating an action plan, within which the presence of various artistic manifestations is enhanced, leading to the approach of young people to art, the cultivation and release of their creative abilities.
Our ultimate goal is the search for a new aesthetic in our daily communication through the promotion of culture and the recovery of our traditions.
